Since Dr. Smith began her medical practice, enormous advances have occurred in the treatment of breast disorders. Dr. Smith has been at the forefront of these advances, and with intense continuing education, has brought these developments to the women of New Mexico.

Dr. Smith now performs all of the standard advanced procedures including breast ultrasound, sentinel node biopsy, skin-sparing mastectomy, onco-plastic surgery, partial breast radiation and genetic testing for the breast cancer genes.

Dr. Smith is a Board Certified General Surgeon. She is a certified instructor in Mammosite (partial breast radiation) and is also certified in Breast Ultrasound.

The Doc off the Clock

Dr. Smith ends most of her nights light on her feet with tango lessons and enjoys dance socials on her time off.
